One Year Since Diagnosis and Still Going Strong
Guess
who's beating cancer? A year ago, Mosey May Gralow was diagnosed with
aggressive T-Cell Lymphoma. She was given six weeks without treatment
and "a year on average" with treatment. This is Mosey on our afternoon walk today. Still got that puppy energy. Go Mosey!
What a great picture of a beautiful dog! So happy for you and Mosey. I lost my sweet little lab Tawney last week to the cancer. But we did get an entire 11 more months with her after her diagnosis so we are so grateful for that. My fingers are crossed that you get many many more days, weeks, months and years with your sweet Mosey.
ReplyDeleteHi Chrissy, just checking in to see how Mosey is?
ReplyDeleteCurrently going through treatment of my little maltese x shiztzu and he's just come out of remission and we are investigating other treatment options and the MOPP protocol is one of our options.
Cheers
Chris
Chris - email me at cgralow at gmail. MOPP was highly effective for Mosey. I am sure my vet would be happy to talk with your vet. Mosey is a very strong, calm dog. If your dog is the same, MOPP might be good. There WERE some complications at the beginning of the treatment with white blood cells crashing, but she bounced back within 24 hrs. I believe it's the mustargen that helped Mosey. It's been a year and a half since her diagnosis now!
